Overcoming Social Anxiety:
Personal Experiences

Sarah's Message

Former member of the local CCBT group

Dr. R.,

What a great looking web site.  I'm still attending the university and doing well.  I am on the Dean's List.  I pat myself on the back for this now :-)   It's something someone taught me to do.

Not everything in my life is perfect, I'm still changing and evolving, but it's nice to be changing in a positive direction and to have the tools that affect change in unhealthy thinking patterns.  I guess that's why, since CBT, I see my life as like a renaissance.  Now, my path is clear and this life journey is truly wondrous.  Once the momentum begins ... it's boundless.

It looks like you are inundated right now.  I just wanted to let you know how I am doing, and that I still think of you, and those I knew (and kind of knew) in the SA groups -- and wish the best to all.  From the looks of it, everyone is doing a magnificent job.

Say hello to everyone for me,

Sarah
